Water Week 2023
From March 20, 2023 to March 25, 2023
Face-to-face and distance event
The graduate school H2O'Lyon and their partners are offering a week of open university events to match World Water Day on 22 March, the theme of which this year is "Accelerating Change". A rich programme to better understand the issues surrounding water. To be followed face-to-face or remotely: webinars, workshops, exhibitions, round discussions
The week will end with a day-long event at the Musée des Confluences as part of the "Nous, les fleuves" exhibition.
These events are open to all, to bring together researchers, students, water professionals and the large public.

Ecologie et Evolution dans les eaux souterraines
A convivial moment of meeting during a coffee break to discover the diversity and fragility of groundwater and the organisms that inhabit it.

"Les pieds dans l’eau #5 : from the laboratory to the field, let's share our knowledge" with RRTV
Based on the principle of "my thesis in 180 seconds", 3 PhD students from the H2O’Lyon community will present their chosen subject and discuss it with the audience
With Emmanuel Jaulin (INRAE Riverly) on the ecological effects of river lock management, Stéphanie Vukelic (EVS) on management of intermittent rivers, and Nans Barthélémie (LEHNA) on Microplastics in intermittent rivers

A collaborative workshop around concepts we all use to discover how other disciplines think, the variety of interfaces.
We will explore the notions of "water cycle" and "restoration".
Three scientists from different disciplines will be given the floor, as well as all the participants, in order to cross the points of view together.
