OneWater - Water as a Common Good // First Call for Projects

From May 5, 2022 to June 28, 2022

OneWater-Water as a Common Good is a national research and innovation programme that aims to have water recognised as a common good. Co-piloted by BRGM with CNRS and INRAE, this exploratory, "Priority Research Programmes and Equipment"’ action (PEPR) was launched on March 16, 2022. With a budget of 53 million euros over 10 years, it is financed by the fourth "Investments for the Future" programme (PIA4) and the France Relance (recovery) plan.

This call for proposals is open to all researchers from French academic and/or research institutions wishing to propose contributions to meet the objectives of the PEPR exploratory programme OneWater.

This call, which was launched online on Thursday 5 May by the National Agency for Research (ANR), will take place in two phases:

A first phase with a letter of intent (to be submitted by 28 June 2022) which aims at pre-selecting consortia, by challenge or inter-challenge.

A second phase for submission of detailed projects for evaluation by an international committee (to be submitted by 13 December 2022) for the consortia selected in phase 1.

The requirements, modalities and submission documents of this first open call for projects OneWater-Water as a Common Good are available on the following link:
