On November 2, 2026
16h00 - 20h00
Usine des eaux de Saint-Clair, 362 Chem. de Wette Fays, 69300 Caluire-et-Cuire
An evening event for PhD students and early-career researchers focusing on current issues in scientific publishing.
The Doc.H2O events are designed to foster connections and dialogue between doctoral students and early-career researchers (postdocs, ATERs, etc.) in the H2O’Lyon community, with the aim of enriching everyone’s thinking, expanding opportunities, and promoting mutual support, while also enabling them to acquire new skills.
The goal of this discussion evening is to help doctoral students and recent PhD graduates understand the current landscape of scientific publishing and provide them with the tools to better navigate this system: What does it take to publish a scientific article? Which journals should they prioritize? And why?
The Doc.H2O event will be preceded by a guided tour of the St-Clair water treatment plant, a historic site in Lyon’s drinking water network.
Registration is free and required. Number of spots is limited.
