Description 

The issue of river management is a major societal challenge in the era of climate change and ongoing territorial transformations. Massive and accelerated urbanization exerts strong pressures on the resources provided by rivers and their surrounding environments, particularly in alluvial settings. These pressures have cascading effects that raise questions about the resilience of societies.


Objectives

Explore current dynamics, their socio-environmental impacts, and propose solutions to prevent damage and build resilient and sustainable cities.
