H2O'Lyon Kick-Off Meeting

Backed by the University of Lyon, H2O'Lyon, one of the two graduate schools selected by the National Research Agency (ANR) in November 2017, has just been launched in Lyon on the occasion of the ISRivers International Conference.

H2O'Lyon : A Graduate School of Watershed Sciences

The H2O'Lyon project is coordinated by Christophe Douady, Professor at Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1, in collaboration with Sylvie Barraud, Professor at INSA Lyon and Hervé Piégay, CNRS - ENS Lyon.
H2O’Lyon brings together researchers and professors-researchers from 10 higher educational institutions and 3 research organisations to build knowledge and to train the future professionals.

Selected in November 2017 by the national agency of research, Agence nationale de la recherche (ANR), as part of the Programme Investissements d’Avenir (PIA), this project aims to build a graduate school of Watershed sciences integrating Social and Human Sciences, Engineering and Physical Sciences, and Life Sciences. The purpose is to understand all the issues related to their operation and management.

The official launch of the H2O'Lyon Graduate School  will take place on June 7, 2018 from 3pm to 6 pm.
