"Quality monitoring is essential if we are to meet the major environmental challenges facing our societies. My work focuses on assistance, development and training in the use of innovative environmental metrology tools, applied mainly to river environments. I supply geographers, hydrologists, geomorphologists and biologists with high spatial and temporal resolution data acquisition tools for current and past environments, such as on-board sensors on airborne and aquatic drones or, for the last eight years, free, low-cost and connected electronic environmental monitoring systems. My activities are shared with several laboratories in Lyon via the Ecology and Environment Partnership Scheme."
