H2O'Lyon Eco-Campus Summer School on Infiltration Processes

After the success of the first edition in 2022, the new edition of the Eco campus summer school on Infiltration will be held from June 25 to 28 in Lyon!
A cohort of young researchers will get the chance to experience 4 days of theory and practice on the various facets of urban water infiltration processes, with the aim of acquiring the knowledge needed to observe and model (bio)-processes.
Experts from different fields will contribute to a multi-layered programme aiming to connect theoretical knowledge and practical issues.
An H2O’Lyon interdisciplinary summer school organized by H2O’Lyon researchers from INRAE, ENTPE, INSA de Lyon and Claude Bernard Lyon 1 University.
The programme includes a mix of field visits, demonstrations on various tools and techniques, data analysis, conferences given by renowned scientists, experience sharing and interactive activities.
New this year: Frances Charters (University of Canterbury, New Zeland) will give a guest lecture focusing on the challenges and opportunities in stormwater planning.
How to apply?
The summer school is open to students in MSc and PhD water related programs and to post-doctoral fellows working on stormwater management, urban hydrology or ecological engineering.
The participant must be able to communicate fluently in English.
The registration fees will range from 180 euros (without accomodation) to 320 euros (with accomodation).
